Had this conversation a couple weeks ago with two of my very wise friends. Im writing this because i had ponder about this, observed and understood it to be very true. So am writing this to remember it.
It is usual to ask what has been going on and whether we are at a stage of being happy or unhappy when we meet up with friends. Actually the terms “happy” and “unhappy” are 2 very extreme emotions and it could be very subjective. Having to define yourself as “happy” or “unhappy” at all times could be a very tiring thing to feel. Perhaps what we should be seeking to have is the state of in between, where we are really just at peace with ourselves, maybe it also feels like space to breathe.
Today i really felt that way. This is no yogi talk though i can always remember my friend saying: let peace be your guiding force. All i did was to listen to my own rhythm. This rhythm will just lead yourself back to you. Just not fuss over anything and be at ease.
So today is a good day.
